We are looking for a colleague, who would join the JAVA developers team and help us take care of expanding our in-house software development capabilities. You'll be working on our freshly built system, that we created from concept stage, which is based on microservice  architecture, using globally proven good practices and using newest technologies. It is responsible for connecting over fifty projects from within and outside, ensuring highest standards in availability, data exchange and it's security.

Your key areas of responsibilities will be: 

• Provide technical leadership and expertise implementing solutions delivering energy data for more than 1 million clients; 

• Contribute building clean architecture of product and related information systems integrations; 

• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies (new framework, tools and so on); 

• Help colleagues grow perform code-review , challenge with respect and grow together. We expect you are a good team player and friendly to work with; 

• Lead solving complex incidents and introduce relevant tools for fluent operations; 

• We do apply Agile software engineering practices and we expect you will significantly contribute improving our way of working from technical leadership perspective. 

• 3-5 years of experience in developing solutions using JAVA 11+ platforms, deep understanding of language internals; 

• Understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability of a system; 

• We work with Java 11+, Spring Boot, Gradle, PostgreSQL, Apache Pulsar, ELK, Grafana, Prometheys and many more. We expect you will be able to use this stack or part of it and even extend the list further; 

• We practice DevOps tools and automations using Ansible, GitLab with CI, JIRA, Confluence, Docker and many more. We expect you will be able to use them and even extend the list further; 

• Good database knowledge, SQL skills for manipulating data, creating, altering tables. We work with Oracle, PostgreSQL; 

• Have experience creating custom functionality using best practices and patterns, keeping consistency within existing architecture; You will lead implementations based on object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles; 

• Write good quality and clean code, contribute to coding standards, refactoring; 

• Open to feedback from others and able to constructively provide feedback as part of the code review process; 

• Basic testing skills, knowledge and experience of TDD would be a benefit; 

• Good collaboration, communication skills with other team members; 

• Strong learning capabilities, open to learn new technologies, product and domain specific knowledge.
