We are looking for a colleague, who would join our team and take the leading role in international business development department. You will be reporting directly to the CEO of Ignitis Renewables, you will be a regular participant to the Ignitis Renewables executive committee and will present your recommendations of development and investments to the renewables and holding boards. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• To be paramount in supporting our executive team to develop and adapt our strategy to latest market developments in this fast pace industry
• Lead a team of business development specialists focused on new markets (Estonia, Scandinavia, south-east Europe) to find greenfield, co-development and investment opportunities in accordance with our strategy, targets and geographical footprint
• Participate together with our operations and technological department in finding and creating solutions to support our project managers in established markets (LT, LV, PL, Offshore) in strengthening their business cases for their projects by suggesting new products or technical solutions following proper modelling and analysis
• Support our commercial department in developing solutions in correlation with the new European electricity market design and flexible production/demand management.

• Have a degree in Engineering or in Economics and you understand both the technical and economical aspects of our business
• Are an experienced individual with good understanding of the energy market of the challenges ahead, a good technical understanding of renewables, generation, storage, transmission and other components of the energy market
• Are able to work in an international environment, you are culturally flexible for exposure to different markets and willing to travel regularly abroad and represent our company in those markets
• Have a very good command of English
• Are willing to assume the responsibility of managing local SPV's
• Are acquainted with generating contractual arrangements with private partners and public entities.
