Lithuanian Railways (LTG) is looking for a FREE Rail project manager to start, elaborate and implement an ambitious FREE Rail program.

FREE Rail program means a huge business, technological and IT transformation of Lithuanian Railways that would create a brand-new railway operational model adapted to the Baltic region, based on EU railway standards, best practice, and harmonized with Lithuanian railway specifics (EU+).

Therefore, we want you to join and embrace your role while designing the scope of the program and implement it, namely:

• Ensuring the creation of the implementing plans in the LTG Group
• Being an active player in shaping the budget of the program and tracking its figures
• Making tracking, reporting and other program documentation in line with the LTG internal methodologies and procedures
• Manage the essential project of the program which will design the further guidelines for other projects which would fall under FREE Rail program
• Supporting LTG Group companies in implementing the projects which are included in the FREE Rail program portfolio
• Being an ambassador of the FREE Rail program when shaping the strategies of the LTG Group companies
• Being a representative of the FREE Rail when using outsource services
• Showing other incredible skills to make the FREE Rail program happen

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of complex/big scale project management or PMO experience
• General understanding of project management methodologies and techniques (PMOB preferable)
• Experience in using project management tools (MS Project, etc.)
• Results that prove your independence, activeness, and creativity
• Admirable skill in setting priorities while surfing in the ocean of tasks
• Never-ending self-motivation and reasonable resilience to stress
• Developed skills in creating the network and benefiting from it at the same time making benefits for the others
• Advanced English knowledge, both in spoken and written
• Don’t hesitate if you don’t have a railways-related experience (well, if you have it, it may be an advantage, of course)
