You will act as payments specialist, meaning you will work with payment processing, inquiries from business partners and banks related to processed transactions, also you will be working with reconciliation anomalies that requires investigation with other departments and banks.

Role Responsibilities

  • Acts as scalation point for payment processing team.
  • Processing of Treasury (FX, Money Market) contracts & controlling of counterparty’s confirmations.
  • Ensures that any reconciliation anomalies are investigated thoroughly to conclusion.
  • Identifies any trends/training needs because of reconciliation items and provides feedback to Team Leader.
  • May assist Team Leader with coordinating and supporting overall successful day-to-day team operations and more complex tasks or resolving issues.
  • Work may include managing investigation cases, ensuring prompt and successful case resolution.
  • Trains new staff members as well as providing coverage to support different tasks.
  • Involved in projects and initiatives to enhance, streamline, and automate the existing processes and reduce the risk of errors where applicable.
  • Understand and follow company policies, risk, and compliance processes.

Role Requirements

  • A high school degree or equivalent skills are required, post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Administration is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the financial services or payments industry
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and be self-motivated to learn quickly.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate in a high-paced, high volume, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT & SEPA products would be an advantage.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 1258-2158 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
