Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

We are looking for a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join our Company in Vilnius, Lithuania, who would be eager to be responsible for evaluating and mitigating risks for a company. Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be reporting to Management Board and CEO and be responsible for strategic plans to mitigate risk and generate reports on a company’s risks and risk management initiatives and distributing them to employees, executives, and stakeholders. 

• Developing risk-related protocols/policies to identify and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and compliance-related risks
• Implementation of strategic actions plans to mitigate the Company's primary threats
• Monitoring the progress of the risk management framework across the company
• Performing annual risk assessment and evaluating results, analyzing current risks, and identifying potential risks that are affecting the Company
• Documenting risk analysis reports to various stakeholders such as Management Board, CEO, and employees
• Evaluating the business's risk profile, implementing, and monitoring risk limitations based on risk measures in line with the Company’s risk appetite
• Preparing documentation for regulatory investigations
• Working closely with colleagues to recognize the potential threats to operational efficiency and financial stability of the organization
• Developing and updating the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA)

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a risk officer or similar role and knowledge of the Lithuanian and European regulatory environment of financial institutions
• Experience in risk management field
• Experience with international regulations and requirements in order to support the company in its rapid expansion plans overseas
• To be able to prepare internal documentations and reports
• Problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex information, identify and communicate the key issues
• Team player in coordinating different issues within different departments
• Fluent English and Lithuanian language skills (spoken and written)
• Initiative to work in a start-up with spirit of proactiveness, great self-motivation and experience in working with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills

• Salary: 3500 – 4000 Eur gross (final offer will depend on your skills and experience);
