About Position
We are looking for a DPO / Legal Counsel to join our Company in Vilnius, Lithuania, who would be eager to be responsible for ensuring the compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data protection laws.
Key Responsibilities
• Control and ensure proper implementation of the GDPR requirements in WITTY's operations
• Ensure the implementation of data subject requests policy and procedure
• Draft internal policies, rules and other legal documents and ensure their implementation
• Communicate with supervisory authorities
• Assist WITTY's legal team with other tasks
Requirements
• An educational background in Law
• 5+ years of legal work experience
• Good knowledge of the GDPR and of other data protection laws
• Experience in implementing laws
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written Lithuanian and English
• Advantage: previous experience in a bank, EMI or law firm
• Advantage: Privacy certification such as CIPP/E.
