What you will be doing

Under general supervision of the World Courier HR Manager (Global Functions), responsible for supporting all Human Resources related activities with a globally focused remit. The associate will perform a variety of HR administrative, data consolidation and management activities aligned to generalist HR activities such as staff recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, global policies and employee relations.

Support HR Manager (Global Functions), with all HR related programs and processes.
Acts as central focal point to complete and consolidate necessary reporting and MI data relating to HR processes, interfacing with global HR colleagues and business stakeholders as required.
Provides administration for various company-wide programs such as service or recognition awards, talent management programmes etc.
Assists and supports HR management in preparing for global training sessions and meetings.
Partners with HR Service centre on digital file maintenance and requests as appropriate.
Support HR Manager (Global Functions),, Regional Senior HR Directors and VP Human resources with diary management, travel and expense management.
Arranges exit interviews for staffs leaving the organization, consolidation and coding of trends observed.
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as new hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
As directed by Supervisor, acts as communication conduit to regional and/or functional areas relative to changes and updates on HR related programs, policies and benefit programs.
Maintains and promotes positive and professional working relationships with associates and management.
Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Prior HR experience a benefit but not a pre-requisite.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience at suite of MS Office tools.
Adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations and data with integrity.
Organised with ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
The ideal candidate would have had exposure to a global working environment and familiarity with key elements of HR generalist activities such as Employee relations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits.
