Profitability Finance Analyst - Intercompany

The Profitability Finance Analyst - Intercompany will Business partner to World Courier offices to support the smooth running of intercompany financial flows. Support country performance analysis by designing and releasing value add intercompany reporting tools to help users assess performance drivers in monthly actuals.

Own the intercompany financial planning process, ensuring assumptions make sense and communicate changes to reams.

Support updating senior management of department initiatives related to variance improvement of intercompany costs vs actuals.

Generate ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives to automate manual processes related to intercompany.

Support business understanding of World Courier intercompany policy and recommended ways of working.

Design and implement intercompany reporting tools to support offices assess performance drivers in monthly actuals.

Own the intercompany financial planning process, ensuring the plan reflects material impact assumptions and is submitted timely.

Drive continuous improvement recommendations in intercompany standard costing to closer align to actual costs.

Generate ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives to automate manual processes related to intercompany.

Support business understanding of World Courier intercompany policy and support in the interpretation where needed.

Support the transition of depot and services onto shipment level profitability reporting.

Support World Courier offices with ad hoc queries on intercompany transactions impacting performance, reaching out to the appropriate support teams to address issue.

Own and routinely deliver training on SAP Business Objects and QlikSense Profitability Dashboard for new starters and requested refreshers, ensuring training documents remain relevant.

Ideal candidate will be a graduate with a background in accounting, cost management, pricing or FP&A.

Requires minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in finance, reporting, analytics or process management.

Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).

Deliver positive outcomes and great work, while managing competing priorities.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to work in team setting, collaborate effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Analytical skills; experience modelling large and/or complex data sets.

Organisational skills; attention to detail and effectively manage priorities.

Computer skills; must be a confident user of MS Excel (vlookups, pivots, sumifs) and PowerPoint.

Willingness to learn company specific computer systems.
