KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting, quarterly and year end close process ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, tax, legislative and other regulatory standards
• Manage operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area
• Full Accountability and ownership of all external reporting and statutory financial returns
• Full Accountability and ownership of investigating & resolving internal / external issues e.g. first point of contact for Group Tax and Local Tax Authorities
• Contribute in preparation of transfer pricing reports
• Contribute in internal and external audits
• Ensure all practices and processes adhere to the InControl framework, act as a key point of contact for internal and external audit requirements
• Responsibility for timely and accurate follow-up of key controls as part of InControl’s framework
• Preparation and sign-off of relevant GL and Sub- Ledger Balance Sheet reconciliations and reviews
• Review of OEM finance balance and bonus reconciliation
• Participate in challenging improvement projects in accounting/ reporting area
• Works closely with Head of Accounting to maintain and update local policies, standardization of processes
WE EXPECT OUR CANDIDATES TO HAVE
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local Accounting Standards – up to date with technical accounting matters, with
• the ability to translate and implement any changes into the business
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting in International environment
• Able to consistently deliver to deadlines and work to high standards
• Skilled at fostering partnerships and good working relationships with stakeholders and internal customers
• Ability to maintain financial control and professional integrity even under pressure
• Sets an example with high levels of personal integrity, always ‘doing the right thing’
• Operates with a strong sense of financial control; embeds a culture of ownership and accountability
• Actively seeks to deliver a better level of service through continuous improvement
• SAP, Navision experience a significant advantage
• Knowledge of local Tax regulations considered as an advantage
• Very good knowledge of English enabling free business communication
