Job description

  • Perform the full life cycle recruiting process in Pon.Bike. 
  • Develop and maintain personnel procedures, policies and contract agreements.  
  • Participate in HR related projects as a project member to support the delivery of the project milestones and deliverables. 
  • Monitor the administrative HR processes to be executed in an efficient way, so that information is accurate and secure, all in line with local legislation and compliance. 
  • Maintaining and implementation of (new) HR policies and prepares updates of labor contracts in compliance with local legislation.  
  • Onboarding new hires, prepare contracts, documents etc. ensure legal contracts are compliant. 
  • Support managers with performance improvement plans and on how to deal with team member issues.  
  • Advise and support managers regarding internal benefit packages, policies and other employee matters/cases (e.g. discipline, long-term sickness). 
  • Monitor and support the HR Cycle: performance review processes, target setting, and the yearly salary increase.
  • Set up, oversees and executes, together with the HR team, the payroll, including the administration of all employee related insurances, pension and savings plans. 

Requirements

  • A few years professional HR working experience in similar kind of position in an international business environment. 
  • Bachelor's degree (HR, Business Administration or similar field). 
  • Must be fluent in Lithuanian and English in word and writing. 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws in Lithuania, and experience with managing and executing (international) payrolling.
  • Methodical and well-organized approach to work, ability to prioritize, work accurately, keen eye for details.
  • Integrity and honesty are core values.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills.
  • Able to stay cool under pressure. 
  • Self-starter, service minded attitude, business partner and hands-on approach. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and project management skills.

Our client - Pon.Bike is the world’s leading bicycle company, will open a new manufacturing facility in Kėdainiai, Lithuania in 2024. The new production center could scale up to an annual production capacity of 450,000 bikes and will be equipped to produce bikes for multiple brands across the company’s premium portfolio, including Gazelle, Kalkhoff, FOCUS, Swapfiets and Urban Arrow. Pon.Bike expects to hire around 300 people over the first year of operations, a number that could grow to over 600 in the future. HR Manager role will be the first and key position in building up Pon.Bike factory in Lithuania.
