Sourcing Specialist Baltics

Purpose of the job:
To implement the sourcing strategy for the local categories in line with the overall Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize the external global spend, reduce costs.
Close collaboration with Finance and Administration Manager Baltics and local Purchasers across Baltic countries, as well as with regional colleagues responsible for sourcing.
Area of responsibility:
- Implement present categories’ strategies following the centrally stipulated Target Operating Model (TOM) and inform accordingly local Business Partners (BPs)
- Implement and monitor corporate processes and all group requirements
- Participate in Global Business Services (GBS) project and ensure local implementation
- Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities
Identify, evaluate, and classify sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation measures, manage risk exposure - Conduct regular spend management and analysis, raise sourcing & purchasing awareness within organization
- Suppliers’ management: identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers, establish, maintain suppliers’ relations, conduct suppliers’ evaluation
- Coordinate Business Partner demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared, and Business Partners are supported adequately
- Closely collaborate with local Purchasers across Baltic countries
- Maximize usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) as possible
- Acts as Local MDM (Master Data Management) representative
- Additional local and/or regional tasks given by Supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Economics, Purchasing or Procurement preferred)
- 2 years of sourcing experience in category(ies) management
- Sourcing approach implementation
- Process understanding and knowledge
- Demand Management
- Market and supplier analysis
- Contract Development
- Agility
- Communication and Relationship building skills
- Results focused
- High ethical standards and strict compliance with internal Policies is essential
