What you will be doing

Deliver insightful reporting and analysis of customer, service and office related profitability translating system generated data into actionable insights.
Continue to evolve profitability reporting and metrics and collaborate with technology teams responsible for producing monthly job/shipment/customer profitability data.
Partner with Pricing, Country Finance and Strategy teams to support informed decision making and reflection on commercial performance. Influencing positive actions to improve profitability across customers, services and countries.
Be responsible for scenario analysis of commercial decisions to advise on the impact of possible courses of action and their financial impact on our profitability.
Develop insightful reporting and analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights on customer, service and office profitability management.
Issue and coordinate review of monthly profitability reports including the Intercompany Finance Performance Pack.
Create reporting model that assess profitability based on contribution margin (i.e., alternate P&L view).
Support in the design and creation of models to record costs for new services to determine true cost to serve.
Support World Courier offices with ad hoc queries on intercompany transactions impacting performance, liaising the Profitability Finance Analyst – Operations where further support is needed.
Working with technology teams gather business requirements for projects to improve shipment level reporting.
Collect feedback from our internal customers and recommend improvements to QlikSense Profitability Dashboard. Document changes for our Analytics teams to implement.
Own and routinely deliver training on SAP Business Objects and QlikSense Profitability Dashboard for new starters and requested refreshers, ensuring training documents remain relevant.
Co-implement the delivery of the annual intercompany revenues and costs for annual plan.
Generates ad hoc analysis as needed by Management and performs related duties as assigned.
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

What your background should look like

Ideal candidate will be a graduate with a background in business management, pricing, marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, strategy, finance or similar.

Requires minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in finance, reporting, analytics or process management.
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
Deliver positive outcomes and great work, while managing competing priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to work in team setting, collaborate effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills; experience modelling large and/or complex data sets.
Strong organisational skills; attention to detail and effectively manage priorities.
Strong computer skills; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Commercial mindset; business partnering with commercial teams to positive outcomes.
Willingness to learn company specific computer systems.
