Position summary

As a DEMAND AND SUPPLY PLANNING SPECIALIST you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Demand planning and product availability through the most realistic estimate of customer demand. You will identify and manage exceptions by monitoring performance, quality, and reliability of the Demand Plan and adapt it to changing circumstances of certain categories of Nestlé products. 

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Control Monthly Business Planning process adherence
  • Prepare the long- and short-term demand plan, follow up on its execution
  • Manage events (launches, re-launches, limited editions, seasonal offerings)
  • Cooperate with commercial and other supply chain functions
  • Communicate with producers regarding the supply plan
  • Formulate stock policies
  • Organize and participate in planning meetings
  • Prepare and analyze supply and demand planning reports
  • Analyze the demand and supply planning KPIs
  • Manage products’ master data
  • Update the demand plan in the system.

What will make YOU successful?

  • 1.5-2 years’ experience in demand or sales planning, business analytics in FMCG sector
  • Data analysis experience and well mastered in Excel
  • Good Insight with strong analytical skills & ability to convince
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; highly developed ability to multitask and work in intense environment
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with different people
  • Advanced Understanding of business practices, sales and marketing processes would be highly valued
  • University degree
  • SAP knowledge (APO DP, APO SNP) would be an advantage
