Balance Sheet Management team is part of Group Treasury. The team is responsible for managing the banks financial resources to ensure optimal allocation and a fair return to shareholders in line with the banks ambitions. Key tasks include internal capital allocation and transfer pricing needed for product pricing and profitability as well as providing intelligence on balance sheet and net interest income developments.
You will be part of a team of nine dedicated colleagues working in an international setting in Copenhagen and Vilnius. All tasks cater around providing advice on balance sheet related matters in plain and simple language. We are a creative, efficient and open team of diverse talent and a fun place to work.
Key stakeholders for the team include customer relationship managers in the branch network, finance and pricing staff and business developers throughout business units and finance departments as well as the banks Asset & Liability Committee, where senior management discusses balance sheet and net interest income developments.
Danske Bank supports a high degree of workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office), and some travelling may be required.
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority of the role.
You will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

You will:
- Participate in allocating the banks capital
- Be responsible for funds transfer pricing of banking and trading products
- Participate in establishing and explaining the link between market rates and rates used for internal allocations
- Take part in business controlling, forecasting and budgeting
- Perform balance sheet risk metrics calculations, reporting and advanced earnings breakdowns
- Be involved in project management tasks, e.g., development of specialised pricing and profitability tools
- Support senior management with ad-hoc analytics
- Structure complex tasks by running monthly end-to-end processes and taking ownership of it
Your work will be split on different types of tasks and can vary from month to month:
- Ad-hoc analyses (including presentations): 15-30%
- User tools (Excel and coding): 15-25%
- Production (monthly/quarterly reporting): 20-40%
- Projects: 20-30%
About you:
- Over 2 years of seasoned expertise in analytical field
- General knowledge of banking essentials in terms of balance sheet, capital structures, income drivers, net interest income, funds transfer pricing, capital and funding, accounting and regulation
- Familiarity with data management and presentation tools, Excel and PowerPoint, including knowledge of using VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau or similar
- Agile and detail-oriented with problem-solving approach, demonstrating great collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical and adaptable mindset, capable of producing high-quality results within tight deadlines Higher degree in economics, finance, business administration, or similar studies
- Advanced English language skills

Monthly salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
