About the role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a preference for backend development. Ideally, you should be proactive, product-minded and enthusiastic about crafting the impactful software product for our customers. As a Software Engineer in the Forms experience team you will work with highly performing individuals to build a product which helps ecommerce businesses boost their contacts list.

The Forms team is responsible for:

- Forms builder - a complex application developed to allow customers to create and edit versatile forms effortlessly

- Engine which makes forms alive 24/7 on ecommerce sites

- A system for collecting and reporting forms statistics

What youll do @Omnisend:

Will be strongly involved in product development decisions;
Designing, developing and testing features;
Addressing and resolving technical challenges to ensure the seamless functionality and optimal performance of our systems;
Maintain features with meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting;
Proactively reviewing and improving features;
Sharing good practices with team members.

We expect that youll bring:

Hands-on experience (2+ years) implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems;
Customer centricity;
Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language with the willingness to learn Golang;
Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools;
Proficiency in any database and willingness to learn MongoDB;
Experience with real time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub;
Working experience with any cloud provider (in Omnisend we use Google Cloud Services).
