Accounting&Tax Manager

Rimi Baltic's Finance department is looking for an Accounting & Tax manager with extensive experience to oversee tax-related matters and contribute to the group's consolidation. The Accounting & Tax manager will report to the Accounting and Reporting Director and will not be responsible for directly managing others.

To be successful in this role You have:

• A track record of at least five years experience in accounting, and a minimum of three years experience in tax consulting.
• A higher education degree in finance, preferably accompanied by an ACCA certificate.
• IFRS knowledge.
• Refined attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• The ability to meet deadlines and effectively resolve problems.
• A high level of proficiency in the English & Latvian language.
• If you are familiar with the automation and digitization of accounting processes, it will be considered an invaluable asset.

We will entrust You to:  

• Represent the company in tax related matters and implement tax requirements. 
• Offer expert advice and support to the company's management on tax-related issues. 
• Be an active participant in the group's consolidated efforts. 
• Review monthly financial reports with great attention to detail, in order to ensure their accuracy and alignment with established standards. 
• Design and help to implement accounting processes. 
• Ensure accurate maintenance of the chart of accounts and intercompany mapping of accounts and cost centers. 
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation. 

Compensation:

The monthly salary for this position is between 3800 and 4300 EUR before taxes, and will be determined based on the candidate's competencies, relevant job experience and skills.
