Position Summary
The Order Desk Specialist is a customer facing part of our Operations team. As the Order Desk Specialist, you will take the lead on contract review and facilitate the deal approval process with the various key stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal) to help shorten the length of the sales cycle and improve quote accuracy. The Order Desk Specialist will ensure that all deals in contracts are reviewed, structured, consistently evaluated, approved, and closed as quickly and efficiently as possible. The position will be required to process incoming orders ensuring compliance with company policies, ensuring exceptional service to our customers and provide regular communication of order status to our sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take ownership of closing sales opportunities efficiently and ensure opportunities complies with company policies
Will support assigned sales team and will assist other coordinators as needed
Provide exceptional service to our customers and highly accurate input into our customer relationship management system (Salesforce.com)
Provide world class customer experience over the phone (~15+ calls/day)
Responsible for compiling reports on order review SLAs
Identify opportunities to improve customer service and streamline order processing
Manage communication with assigned sales teams and customers
Have a hands-on approach to complex situations/escalations and work to resolve them
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales operations experience
Proficient written/spoken English is a must
Strong experience with MS Office / Google docs
Ability to work late evening/night shifts: Mon-Fri 6:30 pm - 3 am
Ability and desire to process a high volume of orders with accuracy while looking for opportunities for improvement
Experience in a POS technical support environment is a plus
Experience with ERP (NetSuite preferred) or CRM (Salesforce preferred) software is a plus
Experience with a ticketing system is a plus (ServiceCloud preferred)
