Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of France payroll legislation, including tax regulations, social security contributions (URSSAF), DSN reporting, and income tax withholding.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and validate payroll data, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies.
- Fluency in French (preferred) and English.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data validation for payroll reporting.
- Experience in processing payrolls for other EMEA countries, supporting regional or global payroll teams would be preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Responsibilities
As part of the Global Payroll Team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the global Finance strategy. Supporting business growth in an increasingly regulated environment whilst ensuring payroll and tax are compliant across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the payroll, ensuring the vendor is held accountable for all statutory obligations and understands Moodys policy, procedures and culture.
- Responsible for the checking all payroll reports and payments as generated by the vendor or as produced internally.
- Provide regular instruction to vendors and ensure they perform within the terms of the contract.
- Partner with peer members to ensure that data and records are accurately maintained and reviewed on a regular basis.
- Execute payroll and statutory benefits program and ensure the existing practices are accurate and comply with local legislation and Moodys policy requirements.
- Maintain proper record of all confidential information according to the established guidelines.
- Provide operational support and guidance on local and corporate-wide payroll programs when needed.
- Some out of hours work or travel might be required.
